After Israel refused her entry, Minnessota Rep. Ilhan Omar just upped the ante and called for Congress to defund the Jewish State.
“We give Israel more than $3 million in aid every year. This is predicated on their being an important ally in the region and ‘the only democracy’ in the Middle East” Omar said.
“But denying a visit to duly elected members of Congress is not consistent with being an ally and denying millions of people freedom of movement or expressions or self-determination is not consistent with being a democracy” she added.
She then said “We must be asking as Israel’s ally the Netanyahu government stop the expansion of settlements on Palestinian land and ensure full rights for Palestinians if we are to give them aid.”

Rep. Omar has gone off the rails and it’s clear that she is an anti-Semite and hater of Israel and the Democratic Party has her back on this.
What is also clear is that Rep. Omar’s desire to visit Israel was nothing but a stuntfrom the beginning, as Fox News reports:

I don’t want to come in the first place,’ I think it put the lie to the whole escapade.”
“Israel has a law on the books that makes promotion if you have an alien – that is, a non-Israeli – who is promoting this BDS movement, which is ‘Boycott, Divestiture, and Sanctions.’ They rightly consider that an attempt to dismantle and ultimately destroy the Jewish state,” McCarthy added. McCarthy is right, Israel had every right to deny Omar and Tlaib entry to their country and they were correct in doing so.
Omar and Tlaib are the devil incarnate.

We could go round and round about who truly owns the land of Palestine historically. At the time of Abraham and Isaac,(long before the land was Palestine) there were many, many tribes that made that land their home. According to the book of Joshua, the Israelites invaded the Holy Land and decimated whole populations. Prior to WWII, Britain owned Palestine, which didn’t have an Israel at the time. So lets not talk about who is occupying who’s territory. The Palestinians were occupied even before Israel was settled.
The Bible is not recognized internationally as a legal historical document, so any claims made based on Biblical promises aren’t legally valid. But Israel has repelled numerous attempts to unseat her from the area. She has earned, by conquest and defense, the right to that land. Palestinians are just going to have to accept that and settle for their own homeland not in Israeli territory.
And the more they use violence and terror tactics to further their objectives, the less possible even that compromise will happen.
It’s time for the Palestinians to get over it, accept a new homeland and move on.
