Perhaps no single reaction Friday night to the conclusion of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation rivaled that of MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews, who was apoplectic, inconsolable, and irate at the notion the Mueller team will not offer any further indictments in hopes of criminal charges concerning Russian collusion. And even his most adored guests couldn’t avoid his scorn.
Somewhere along the way, it never occurred to MSNBC that maybe a call should have been placed to Barack Obama to help calm Matthews down. Maybe that would have helped.
It was clear that Matthews was having a hard time when this was how he started the show (click “expand”):
The investigation is over and according to a senior DOJ official there will be no further indictments. That means no charges against the President, his children or associates after all those meetings with the Russians.
Not only that but the Special Counsel completely his report and signed off on it without ever directly interviewing the President of the United States about collusion or obstruction of justice.

Everybody knows Matthews is insane. MSNBC keeps him around for entertainment. I wouldn’t watch him for all the money in the U.S. Mint.

There is never an end to Chris Matthews confusion as long as the conclusions reached do not coincide with is biases. He ha a great job … Pursue his buses and never accept the truth of it doesn’t with his biass. He has a great job! Don’t ever expect him to ask why Hillary is not in jail. Don’t ever expect him to wonder about the Silence of John Podesta or the lying of Comey, Rosenstein, and McCabe.
wow, is this guy allowed out without his caretaker, a while ago Muller was his hero because he thought for sure Muller would keep going until he charged Trump with at least eating Russian food for dinner one night. I think they need to put a suicide watch on Matthews because he was so worked up i could feel him spitting through my computer screen
Chris might also wonder about the silence of Obama CIA Director John Brennan and NSA director James Clapper ….. Both belong in jail for lying under oath. But no … Chris is too busy pushing his line of B.S.

As for me (the U.S. Army CID commander who submitted the case implicating everyone from Jimmy Carter, many members of his administration, 21 international bankers, and several state government officials [including the then Arkansas Attorney General William J. Clinton] in the international drug trade and money laundering focusing on the free zones and the many banks operating in and around the Panama Canal [see the Mena files][official file buried deeper than Jimmy Hoffa]), I have offered to bring a team of retired CID agents to DC to clean/drain that part of the swamp housing the DOJ and the Intelligence Community. Chrissy, I will submit to you that an Army CID agent fresh out of the academy could have walked on the scene the same day Comey delivered his famous Clinton Case report and by the end of the week handed in a case requiring prosecution of any number of FBI and DOJ officials. Once more, if that same agent were in Mueller’s shoes he would have looked over the scene and walked over to the President’s office, and advised him to fire the entire 7th floor of the FBI and many of the top dogs over at DOJ. Chrissy, suggest you consider that Mueller was brought in for one purpose. His purpose was to distract, hide, confuse, delay, etc. In short, Mueller was just another part of a giant fiasco (but screwed up operation by any measure) meant to conceal the sins of the Obama administration, the democrats, the Clinton campaign, the Clinton foundation, etc. By the way Chrissy, we have offered to work for room and board! I remember matthews actually guest hosting for Rush once back in the 90s before he went off the Deep end, amazing, Hardball use to be decent, quit watching it years ago when it turned all Leftist.
I’m so happy that the lying media are suffering over all the lies they have been saying over the last two years. This should prove to the people that there was never any collusion.
Chris Matthews needs to know that I heard some mooing at my door and when I opened it there were farting cows there mooing in Russian and looking to collude with someone. If Matthews is still upset maybe he can get President Obama to stop by and per on his leg it seemed to work when Obama won an election and Matthews said he felt something running down his leg
