After encouraging mass protests against law enforcement in his city Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti threatened residents with another full lockdown if they don’t stop letting their kids play with friends.

Noting that Los Angeles is currently seeing the highest level of hospitalizations since the pandemic began, Garcetti warned, “These [next two] weeks are absolutely critical. Critical to whether our schools open, whether our economy thrives.”
He reminded residents that “All options remain on the table. We will do whatever we need to.”
If things get worse, said Garcetti, “We’d likely return to a mandated stay-at-home order,” in one or two weeks.
“There are still too many social gatherings. Way too many pool parties,” he said.
“Parents, I need your help,” enjoined the mayor. “I need you to keep your children away from their friends.”
As a general guideline, Garcetti advised, “You should assume that everyone around you is infected.”
What Democrats like Mayor Eric Garcetti seem to miss is that it is inconsistencies like this that make people skeptical about their threats and covid related restrictions.
People watch people like Garcetti encourage mass protests, so long as they serve his side of the political aisle, and rightly think that everything else must be fine as well.

If protests are fine, so is letting kids play with each other. So is going out to eat and going to the store.
So Mayor Garcetti can threaten all he wants.
We all saw the massive illegal fireworks display put on by the residents of Los Angeles in defiance of the mayor and governors dictates.
Virus or no virus people will no longer be contained.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not inciting people to defy coronavirus restrictions. Just observing what is already true.
If anyone is to blame for the increase in covid cases, and for people resuming normal life, it is those on the left for encouraging and allowing mass protests and riots all across America.
People watch and see, and act accordingly no matter what the politicians and media may hypocritically say.
So Mayor Garcetti better rethink his threats because the people will no longer comply.
And given the targets placed on their backs by the media and Democrat politicians you can guess who’s side the local police and other law enforcement agencies will be on.
So good luck enforcing your new lock down order Mayor Garcetti, should you be dumb enough to actually move forward with it.
