President Donald Trump is becoming “more and more angry” at China as COVID-19 cases continue to spike in certain states.

Trump tweeted Tuesday:

“As I watch the Pandemic spread its ugly face all across the world, including the tremendous damage it has done to the USA, I become more and more angry at China. People can see it, and I can feel it!”

Coronavirus hospitalizations are rising in 12 states, while daily deaths are increasing in Arizona. About 130 counties are considered “hot spots,” according to the head of the head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The number of confirmed cases globally is nearly 10.4 million, and the death toll is more than 507,000. There are more than 2.6 million cases in the United States and over 126,000 deaths.

Trump has long blamed China for the pandemic and has referred to the virus as the “Wuhan virus” and the “Chinese virus.”

Last Tuesday he referred to the virus as the “kung flu” during his speech addressing young people in Phoenix.
