Viewers tuning in to CNN for New Year’s Eve coverage were treated to host Anderson Cooper grotesquely discussing the male anatomy with his co-host.

P.S. with friends in T.V and film production in Hollywood I am told that in order to obtain financing for the production of a series or film, it must have 5 elements. This is what network shows (comedies or dramas) have become: 1) the lovable, always faithful gay couple, usually raising a child together; 2) the lesbian couple fighting to be acknowledged as “normal”; 3) the interracial couple with their prejudiced neighbors; 4) the transgender male turned female (saw that on Chicago Med, so expect to see it on all network dramas and/or comedies), and 5) the “honorable” illegal alien just trying to make a life and Trump and ICE are just too mean to him (saw that on Chicago Med also). Hollywood obviously wants to educate us about the new “normal.” Considering only (approx.) 7% of the population is gay or lesbian; only 10% of marriages are interracial; and only 0.6% of individuals identify as transgenders, I see no reason for Hollywood to pander to these individuals. Just a good reason to turn off the television and read a good book instead.
