China ‘Inexcusably’ Hid Information About Coronavirus And Should Admit Their Wrongdoing

While China may have finally tamped down coronavirus to manageable levels within their borders, the fact remains that they initially lied about the virus while actively suppressing early information that may have saved countless lives, according to Dr. Michael Pillsbury, Director for Chinese Strategy at the Hudson Institute and adviser to President Trump.

“Everybody who wants to can just go online and look at January 14th – the WHO website. You’ll see the WHO say ‘China says there is no human-to-human transmission,'” said Pullsbury.

Now that was not true. They already knew there was human transmission. And the next day, 20 Chinese came in the White House – with President Trump, Henry Kissinger, Lou Dobbs, myself, we all saw the Chinese up close. Some of them could have been carrying it,” he added.

Pillsbury then discussed the case of Wuhan doctor Li Wenliang – the whilstleblower who posted on WeChat about the new disease, only to be prosecuted by the government before later dying of the virus. Beijing is now pretending he was never punished for speaking out, and is now lionizing him as a hero.

Last week, Axios published a timeline of China’s lies and cover-ups regarding COVID-19 which fit perfectly with Dr. Pullsbury’s comments:

A study published in March indicated that if Chinese authorities had acted three weeks earlier than they did, the number of coronavirus cases could have been reduced by 95% and its geographic spread limited.

This timeline, compiled from information reported by the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the South China Morning Post and other sources, shows that China’s cover-up and the delay in serious measures to contain the virus lasted about three weeks.

Dec. 10: Wei Guixian, one of the earliest known coronavirus patients, starts feeling ill.

Dec. 16: Patient admitted to Wuhan Central Hospital with infection in both lungs but resistant to anti-flu drugs. Staff later learned he worked at a wildlife market connected to the outbreak.

Dec. 27: Wuhan health officials are told that a new coronavirus is causing the illness.

Dec. 30:

  • Ai Fen, a top director at Wuhan Central Hospital, posts information on WeChat about the new virus. She was reprimanded for doing so and told not to spread information about it.
  • Wuhan doctor Li Wenliang also shares information on WeChat about the new SARS-like virus. He is called in for questioning shortly afterward.
  • Wuhan health commission notifies hospitals of a “pneumonia of unclear cause” and orders them to report any related information.

Dec. 31:

  • Wuhan health officials confirm 27 cases of illness and close a market they think is related to the virus’ spread.
  • China tells the World Health Organization’s China office about the cases of an unknown illness.

Jan. 1: Wuhan Public Security Bureau brings in for questioning eight doctors who had posted information about the illness on WeChat.

  • An official at the Hubei Provincial Health Commission orders labs, which had already determined that the novel virus was similar to SARS, to stop testing samples and to destroy existing samples.

Jan. 2: Chinese researchers map the new coronavirus’ complete genetic information. This information is not made public until Jan. 9.

Jan. 7: Xi Jinping becomes involved in the response.

Jan. 9: China announces it has mapped the coronavirus genome.

Jan. 11–17: Important prescheduled CCP meeting held in Wuhan. During that time, the Wuhan Health Commission insists there are no new cases.

Jan. 13: First coronavirus case reported in Thailand, the first known case outside China.

Jan. 14: WHO announces Chinese authorities have seen “no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus.”

Jan. 15: The patient who becomes the first confirmed U.S. case leaves Wuhan and arrives in the U.S., carrying the coronavirus.

Jan. 18:

  • The Wuhan Health Commission announces four new cases.
  • Annual Wuhan Lunar New Year banquet. Tens of thousands of people gathered for a potluck.

Jan. 19: Beijing sends epidemiologists to Wuhan.

Jan. 20:

  • The first case announced in South Korea.
  • Zhong Nanshan, a top Chinese doctor who is helping to coordinate the coronavirus response, announces the virus can be passed between people.

Jan. 21:

  • The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirms the first coronavirus case in the United States.
  • CCP flagship newspaper People’s Daily mentions the coronavirus epidemic and Xi’s actions to fight it for the first time.
  • China’s top political commission in charge of law and order warns that “anyone who deliberately delays and hides the reporting of [virus] cases out of his or her own self-interest will be nailed on the pillar of shame for eternity.”

Jan. 23: Wuhan and three other cities are put on lockdown. Right around this time, approximately 5 million people leave the city without being screened for the illness.

Jan. 24–30: China celebrates the Lunar New Year holiday. Hundreds of millions of people are in transit around the country as they visit relatives.

Jan. 24: China extends the lockdown to cover 36 million people and starts to rapidly build a new hospital in Wuhan. From this point, very strict measures continue to be implemented around the country for the rest of the epidemic.

The bottom line: China is now trying to create a narrative that it’s an example of how to handle this crisis when in fact its early actions led to the virus spreading around the globe.

  1. That no good communist leader of China should be held responsible for every sickness and death caused by his no good communist country. He should pay for every medial bill and every death of every person that is sick and their families that have lost loved ones. Maybe that will bankrupt his no good communist country.

  2. With all of the above facts and figures, who in his or right mind, blame the President referring to the bad pandemic as China and or Wuhan virus?
The fake news complex, might be reading these truths upside down. In doing so, all they and the rest of them will continue to do is cover for China, not the people of China, but the leadership.
Their actions undermine the determination of all forces of God to confront the evil, destructive nature of the chinese leadership and the oppression of it’s people as well as the suppress of truth.

  3. You guys what difference does it make. The virus exists. Sure the Chinese were trying to weaponize it. Sure some dumb ass sold an infected animal to the market for resell. That’s all true. Yeah the chinese killed the professor who told the world about the virus.

Now the virus is out in the world. So like the flu your going to get this covid19/ chinese virus/ wuhan virus / kung flu. So hopefully you all get it when your young and it is not must wrong then the flu. Hopefully the old folks who are going to die of pneumonia brought on by the virus are made as comfortable as possible. The faster we get to 70 or 80% who have had it the faster it comes a non issue.

P.s. not that on January 14th china officially told the world no human to human transmission but by the end of February the damn liberals were screaming trump should be impeached for not doing enough to stop it. Liberals are always jack asses.. I want liberals to be the ones that die from the kung flu

  4. Yup your right Jake. It’s time for people to settle down and stop ruining th economy and shutting down stores. Stop being hysterical over a damn flu virus you nut cases.

  5. I thought this propaganda peace was called rawconservativeopinions? They want China to admit to what now. That’s like asking a Liberal to tell the truth, or to have honor, or credibility. It just won’t happen.

  6. China Should pay the burden cost to USA, families, business, medical cost, lost of families members, the consequence of our live style do to their neglected information, hiding it illness, manipulation information, paying with Human life in their own country but also our own Country USA.
China should had notified our health organization immediate, China should have better control of human health, better financial system for human health NOT military power and control.
China is fully responsible 100% for all chaos in USA period, make them pay no buts, no excuses, no next time, NOW PAY FOR THEIR ACTIONS….PERIOD….

  7. Lets just “say” for argument that China is “right” that the US Army started this virus. Then “why” did they LIE to the WHO and tell them that the virus could not be transferred by human contact!? They lied to the WHO because they “KNEW” that it started in Wuhan and that they attempted to cover it up, THAT IS WHY weeks later they came up with this screwy story about the USA!

  8. The Corona Virus has been politicized, but not by Trump, by the Demonrats, fake media, Communist China. The Dems, Leftists, and their ilk have tried since day one to unseat our duly elected POTUS – Russian Hoax, Ukraine Hoax, fake impeachment over bogus allegations, the media spreading any kind of b.s. propaganda they can to take Trump down.(proven daily by their own actions). Trump’s economy was booming, stocks were at an all-time high, unemployment at an all-time low for blacks, Hispanics, and women. Making Trump unbeatable in November. The Dems boasted themselves that they would take Trump down no matter what. These same Dems have ties with China and also have Military conspirators in their pockets. I have no doubt in my mind that they hashed this plan with China to create this pandemic in an ultimate attempt to oust Trump It is the perfect way to discredit him and undo all of the progress he has made in this country, then they can come forward and act like the heroes who saved the American people. They have used this to attack Trump at every turn, keep him busy fighting the virus so it frees them up to continue lauding for their failed Democrat candidates. The Chinese have no problem killing off their own people as they are well overpopulated and have taken other such measures in their past to thin out their population. They created this virus and let it spread to cause exactly what they intended it to do. Chaos and to weaken this country, oust a President who has sanctioned them, called them out on their unfair tariffs, taking unfair advantage of this country for years.

  9. You know, in the long run it doesn’t matter any more who or where it started. I agree that all evidence points to China. But guess what, If we’re just going to point fingers and accuse and insist that they admit it, all we’re doing is fueling anger from them. At this point, it’s more important to be focusing on what to do, NOT WHO TO POINT FINGERS AT AND ALIENATION. Even if it was their fault, trying to force them to admit it won’t make it go away or get any better and will just create hard feelings. This thing will pass at some point and things will get better. At that point, if it’s still so important, then discuss the evidence in hopefully a peaceful setting where minds can meet and try to approach it in as positive a light as possible. Until then,SHUT UP AND STOP POINTING FINGERS! Work on trying to help get thru it instead!!! All this serves to do is non beneficial right now!

  10. The good thing is that they have found a method of curing the people who have contracted Covid-19. A drug cocktail of malaria meds combined with a Z-pac produces healthy people in 6 days or less. It has been tested and proven effective in 100% of the cases. So there is hope. Hold onto that.

  11. It is rather typical in far-Eastern cultures, (not only in China,) that “saving face” (avoiding blame and it’s resultant embarrassment) is given paramount value, regarding the individual, the family, and the country. When this problem developed in Wuhan, China, the people in charge attempted to conceal it. Even today, they are desperately trying to throw the blame away from themselves. The United States would have been HAPPY to send our BEST help over there to assist them, and put controls over this new and therefore quite serious health problem – which is now affecting the WORLD !!! The secrecy, which was imposed initially, became the highest factor of the explosion of the problem beyond all controls. Isolation is what was needed then, and is needed now. All the world needs to know this fact, this lesson !!!

    • They sent the best from Harvard University Professor Charles Lieber has been working with them since last April and getting paid millions for his formulas. Last 21 vials he tried taken over to China he was arrested. They’re now saying he had no involvement with the virus. CNN IS Keeping this very hush hush
