(Natural News) If you’ve been paying any attention at all to the Democratic debates, you know that the candidates are doing all they can to out-Marxist each other.
Giveaways ranging from a thousand dollars a month in free money to Medicare for All to free college and even healthcare for illegal aliens, Democrats are spending tens of trillions of dollars of taxpayer money for programs no one country on the planet can afford, even the most wealthy of them — the United States.
But below the radar most of the Democrats running to unseat President Donald Trump next year are also eyeing the further destruction of one of our most basic civil and constitutional rights: The right to keep and bear arms for self-defense and protection against an overzealous tyrannical government.
As noted by gun-rights expert Alan Gottlieb writing at AmmoLand, you may have heard that back-bench 2020 Democratic presidential contender Robert “Beto” O’Rourke declared last week at the latest debate, “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47!”
That comment was “brutally revealing,” Gottlieb, head of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBC), in that it really lays bare what all Democrats want to do: Confiscate our guns because that’s the only way they can impose their tyrannical style of government.
What was also revealing, Gottlieb noted, “was the reaction from the audience” — Democratic voters, to be sure. They, too, have no problem with an American political party blatantly disregarding a core constitutional right in pursuit of their agenda (though one tends to wonder what these same voters will think when Democrats —if they ever get the chance — start limiting rights that matter to them like speech, expression, privacy, and due process).

Democrats prove daily they hate the Constitution
“His intent to confiscate privately-owned firearms got the biggest cheer of the evening. Even more alarming was the fact that not one of his colleagues on stage made an effort to disagree. That should concern every gun owner in the country,” Gottlieb said of O’Rourke.
“Second Amendment activists have been ridiculed by Democrats and the gun prohibition lobby for years,” he added. “Their condescending assurances that ‘nobody is going to take your guns’ just went out the window, thanks to O’Rourke, who even said the same thing last year while campaigning for the U.S. Senate.”
He’s referring to an interview O’Rourke did with a local radio station while he was running to unseat Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas). The then-U.S. Rep. O’Rourke made it clear that nobody wants to take anyone’s guns, specifically and including AR-15s and AK-47 style firearms.
Interestingly, Gottlieb noted, O’Rourke’s moment of candor has brought his flagging campaign more attention than anything else he’s tried, and understandably so: The same Left-wing “mainstream media” that jumps to the defense of the First Amendment at every turn just as vehemently attacks and slanders the Second Amendment. “From this moment on, when Democrats talk about ‘gun reform or ‘gun safety,’ the whole country will know they’re not just talking about gun control they’re talking about taking firearms away from law-abiding citizens who have committed no crime,” Gottlieb said.
Every other Democrat who’s running for the 2020 nomination has called for banning semi-automatic military look-alike rifles, even though only a fraction of a percentage of them are ever used in a crime (that’s according to the FBI, by the way).
So yes, Gottlieb is spot-on when he says that all Democrats really want to confiscate your firearms. It would start with the ARs and AKs, but would quickly spread to handguns (and all other firearms) because those, by far, kill more Americans annually (though not as many as automobiles or prescription drugs).

I just don’t understand how they think they can get away with passing gun confiscation legislation, without starting Civil War 2.0 . . . Who would win that? Certainly the weak will depend upon the military or their local Police; because guns are so ‘scary’ and have a mind of their own, and they wouldn’t DARE own one. Conservatives are the citizens more likely to own a damn gun. Many of us own more than one! Sure, there are elements of the demonrat criminal elites that also own guns, and of course real criminals may have one or more.
It would come down to having to make a choice of killing or maiming another human, which most conservative would find cringe-worthy (Thou salt not kill). That’s also one of the demonrat’s considerations — our sense of Faith and fairness, or ethics and morals. All of which the demonrats have in short supply.
There is not one demonrat in politics today that wouldn’t kill you in a heartbeat for what you have in your cellar or pantry, if political upheaval SHTF or if an apocalyptical even occurred . . .
If they are successful at passing such a law, the world as we know it will end; Armageddon will begin . . .

Actually the fools who try to confiscate people’s guns will be the ones shot. There are over a 100 million gun owners and at least one firearm for every man, woman and child in this Country. We have about 2 million military and 1 million law enforcement in this Country. Not all military or police serve in potentially combat or a field type role so the number available to confiscate firearms is far less. They all take an oath to defend the Constitution which of course includes the 2nd Amendment and while they are trying to take your guns who is going to be taking the guns of THEIR friends and relatives? In two recent confrontations with 2 active shooters approximately 8 police officers were shot and injured. Additionally, police and or military have enough trouble trying to contain unarmed protesters or rioters so how are they going to contain armed civilians many of whom will be former military and police as well as millions of very accomplished civilian shooters who will defend with force their right to keep firearms they bought legally. These people who talk about confiscation should be the ones who have to knock on the doors first to tell people they are there to take their guns. Be the first and last time we would have to worry about them.

The DEMOCRATS who want to take our guns certainly prove that they hate AMERICA and that that they want complete POWER which is slavery.
