Trump Campaign Sues Omarosa; “Millions” Sought Over Broken NDA


President Trump’s campaign on Tuesday filed charges against former aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman, claiming she violated a 2016 nondisclosure agreement (NDA) by disparaging the president in her new book, and secretly recording conversations with Trump and White House chief of staff John Kelly, the latter of which took place in the ultra-secure Situation Room – a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) when Kelly fired her last December, reports the Washington Examiner.

In New York, Trump campaign lawyers filed for arbitration to force the former star of “The Apprentice” to abide by the agreement they say she signed when joining the 2016 campaign.

According to a sample of the agreement provided to Secrets, she was required to keep proprietary information about the president, his companies or his family confidential and to never “disparage” the Trump family “during the term of your service and at all times thereafter.” –Washington Examiner

A Trump campaign official said in a statement “Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. has filed an arbitration against Omarosa Manigault-Newman, with the American Arbitration Association in New York City, for breach of her 2016 confidentiality agreement with the Trump Campaign,” adding “President Trump is well known for giving people opportunities to advance in their careers and lives over the decades, but wrong is wrong, and a direct violation of an agreement must be addressed and the violator must be held accountable.”

In her book, Unhinged: An Insider Account of the Trump White House, and especially on her controversial book tour on TV, she has turned on her former friend and employer, calling him unfit for officeShe claimed he used racist language during the filming of “The Apprentice,” but insiders and Trump deny the claim. She has also revealed private conversations she had with Trump and others, including from the secret White House Situation Room, a potential violation of federal law. –Washington Examiner

Trump referenced the NDA in a Monday Tweet:

On Tuesday, Omarosa provided CBS News with a new tape in which several Trump campaign officials reportedly discuss how to handle the fallout over an alleged tape of Trump using the N-word during his time on The Apprentice.

“I am trying to find at least what context it was used in to help us maybe try to figure out a way to spin it,” Pierson is heard saying.

Patton then described a conversation she had with then-candidate Trump about making the slur.

Patton: “I said, ‘Well, sir, can you think of anytime where this happened?’ And he said, ‘no.'”

Omarosa: “Well, that is not true.”

Patton: “He goes, how do you think I should handle it and I told him exactly what you just said, Omarosa, which is well, it depends on what scenario you are talking about. And he said, well, why don’t you just go ahead and put it to bed.”

Pierson: “He said. No, he said it. He is embarrassed by it.” –CBS News

Pierson denied the call ever took place on Monday night – before CBS obtained the recording, saying “No, Ed (Henry). That did not happen. Sounds like she is writing the script for a movie.” Then on Tuesday, Patton and Pierson issued a joint statement, saying “No one ever denied the existence of conversations about a reported ‘Apprentice’ tape. Of course there were multiple discussions about it.”

On Monday, President Trump tweeted: “.@MarkBurnettTV called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a terrible and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa. I don’t have that word in my vocabulary, and never have.”

Omarosa’s new disclosures coincide with the release of her new book, Unhinged. The former Apprentice contestant appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd on Sunday where she dropped the Kelly recording – only to turn around and released a phone call with Trump in which he says he didn’t know she was fired.

What’s more – Omarosa was  caught in a lie about whether she heard President Trump use the N-word – claiming in her new book that someone told her pollster Frank Luntz heard Trump say it, which Luntz denied, while later telling NPR that she personally heard Trump say it. Luntz has denied this, calling Omarosa’s fact checking “Very shoddy work.”

Another denied claim from her book is that former Trump attorney Michael Cohen was in a meeting in which Donald Trump took a note from Cohen and ate it.

After Manigault-Newman released a second recording of her phone call with Trump post-firing, thje President hit back, tweeting: “Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok,” adding “People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart.”

“Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work. When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me – until she got fired!”

On Tuesday, Trump referred to Omarosa as a “dog” and a “crazed, crying lowlife”:


Last Saturday, President Trump called Manigault-Newman a “lowlife” when asked if he felt betrayed by the former aide. White House staff, meanwhile, have slammed Omarosa as a “disgruntled former White House employee” trying to “profit off these false attacks.”

  1. This dog only wanted a bigger bone, and the way it look’s she’s gone to get it but not where she expects. This back stabbing dog is all about her and the people who tried to help her got the bone in a different way. She’s got to be the biggest liar of all time and if you consider this dog a friend, watch your back. As far as I’m concerned you can put this dog to rest. Mr. Trump now you no that no one can be trusted no matter who they are. First Michael Cohen and now this dog Omarosa. I’m behind you Mr, Trump acting as your dog catcher from here on. MAGA!!!

    • This is typical of people that are a proven detriment to any business, and cannot have lasting associations of any benefit! She is a LIAR, was not doing her job, which was a “GIVEN” by President Trump, and she ROYALLY SCREWED UP, and is now trying to get her financial world firmed up by selling her “book” and her “book” will be her downfall, cuz it now warns every single person that she is a “SUBTERFUGE” freak that cannot be trusted to even have a cup of coffee with, for fear of being recorded. If I ever sat down with her, (GOD FORBID) I would let her do all the talking!! Only way to be safe from allegations by a her would and will be to let her do ALL THE TALKING, and ONLY NOD, but she would probably have a hidden camera, so that is out also! NEVER TO MEET WITH HER IS BEST OPTION!!!!

    • Looks like Omarosa , better find herself a very wealthy sugar , “DADDY” , in order to just put food on her table.
      She has dealt a losing hand, with no way out. If you are going to play with the BIG boys, better have some very good lawyers. Plus absolute TRUTH. Lawyers don’t take cases just because you say it is true. Facts are all that counts. Because they know if they don’t have facts, NO PAY.
      Even Stormy ran out of money , over 10 mil. they say.

  2. Anyone who does not perform their job up to the expectations of their supervisor/boss can expect a warning or two and then be fired for poor performance. The determination is not made by the employee but by their superiors.

    That comment applies to every employee everywhere. People live with that every single day in every job.

    If Gen. John Kelly, White House Chief of Staff, was not satisfied with Omarosa’s job performance for any reason, he was perfectly justified in firing her. The fact she improperly and perhaps illegally taped the firing is immaterial and meaningless. No doubt she was angered by being fired and is vindictive. Most people aren’t happy being fired even when it’s their own fault. A common reaction of someone who is black in this situation is to claim racism, and it is usually a phony claim. They would not have gotten the job to begin with if management were racist! Her being vindictive is also common. But it by no means suggests she is right nor does she have a leg to stand on. Her boss was not happy with her job performance so she was fired. It is not a big deal!

    Now if she broke any laws, either by her covertly taping a conversation in the White House which could be considered espionage or by violating a legal non-disclosure agreement, she can and should be held accountable legally. Her conduct is very questionable.

    The media is simply demonstrating their TDS problem by even trying to make this a story. It really is more “fake news”.

  3. This woman has changed her story so many times and no one can corroborate it. I think she is just making it up as she goes along. She sounds like an 8th grader trying to explain why she lost her homework.

  4. She’s been fired more than the rifle on the Rifleman. She was fired FOUR times as a part of the Clinton/Gore Administration. She’s a reality show disaster having been fired by Donald multiple times and evicted from the Big Brother house. Her ego is even bigger than her mouth which is considerable. Fragile egos like hers tend to make people petty, immature, rebellious and vindictive.
    She’s as unstable as nitro-glycerine and nearly as dangerous. Calling her a “dog” is more of a compliment to her and an insult to dogs. Many of the other words President Trump has used to describe her are much more appropriate. In fact, the book that she is TRYING to sell bears a title that is meant for Trump, but much more closely describes her. But unlike an unhinged door that may be hard to close, this is a door we need to close. Not that her mouth ever will.

  5. You are right on all points Wayne. If All companies operate as you say. She may never have thought of that, after all, has she ever held a job long enough to learn anything. Does not look like it.
    LOL, if she thinks CNN,CBS,NBC, or FOX is going to foot her bill, a rude awaking is about to drop.
    She defiantly should be accountable for any infractions she violated.

  6. The President is totally within his rights to hold amaroso to a legal agreement that is used commonly all across the government. Government Employees that are accessed to sensitive information have to sign these all the time. There is nothing unfair about this. She is paying the price that any employee could pay in that situation. I believe she is one of the time bombs planted by Obama. How many more are there.
