As we anticipated, just hours after California Gov. Jerry Brown rejected the federal government’s plan to send state National Guard troops to the border, President Donald Trump has chimed in with a response via Twitter.
However, the tone of today’s tweet sharply contrasted with a tweet sent a week ago where Trump had thanked Brown for pledging 400 troops for the border mission last week. It appears Brown has already walked back that pledge.
Instead of praising Brown, Trump said it “looks like Jerry Brown and California are not looking for safety and security along their very porous Border. He cannot come to terms for the National Guard to patrol and protect the Border. The high crime rate will only get higher. Much wanted Wall in San Diego already started!”

Of course, the reason for the state’s rejection of Trump’s order is that the work of the national guard “is considered too closely tied to immigration enforcement” - which would violate the spirit of the state’s “sanctuary state” laws that prohibit state law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration police. Brown had initially made his support conditional on the troops having no role in immigration enforcement.
Given the high taxes, poor roads, terrible schools and rising crime, is it any wonder that everybody wants to leave California?
Trump also recently touted the beginning of construction on a section of the border wall near San Diego, saying its popularity was a sign of the “tremendous pressure” to stop “crime cradling sanctuary cities.”
Our corrupt governor simply wants to import democrats, give them a drivers license and then tell them to go and vote.
Why is it that Californians don’t recall this dip of a Governor and throw his butt out of office,get up a petition and get things on the go,it does no good to complain,and then set back and do nothing about this turkey when there is a means to get him out.

Those complaining about CA, should go there to see for themselves, what a vibrant, beautiful, and progressive state it is. Is it perfect? NO! Is any state perfect? NO! Border crossings take place with regularity, but there are controls in place. Mexican labor is present in many areas, and is relied upon. It is needed and serves the state and our country well. Walls can be detrimental and often do not produce the result intended by their construction. Further CA has a very long coastline which provides access by sea. If needed, we should beef up our security at the border, but not with an ugly expensive wall, which will begin deteriorating as soon as it is finished.

Just heard on Fox and Friends this morning that more Southern California cities and municipalities are joining the Federal government’s lawsuit against Gov. Moonbeam and his sanctuary state law. He’s already labeled us “freeloaders” for rejecting his gas tax so now I wonder what name Gov. Brown will call Californians who vote against his asinine law?
We don’t have the money and the know-how to do it. The governor of California is a dictator and he has tied behind the back, the hands of the “legal” Californian citizens. Jerry Brown takes taxpayer money and $$ bribes his legislators with that money to do his will by approving his demands. The state is rigged with liberals and corruption. Even the law enforcement members are corrupt and accommodating to Jerry Brown.
Californians need the assistance of our American president to intervene and help us to rid ourselves of this parasite and his parasite administration at the state, county and city levels. Our voting process is a farce and fraudulent. Propositions we vote on that are certain to go in the direction of the voters, all of a sudden reverse themselves and do not go the direction intended. It is obvious that the state government has falsified the votes in favor of the wants of California’s governor and the liberal Californians.
